Again you've written a very lovely insightful poem. Love is, indeed very fragile and wonderful. I wish you the best of luck in the contest. Evi

The artwork complements the piece. A great use of repetition of these words (consigned, wither, bold, love, design, entrust and hearts).
A fragile love trusted in a beloved one. A great expression of brilliance. Great job from the author.

This is very well written, beautiful imagery. The picture absolutely captures me. Unexplainable attraction, when two little ones don't even know the romance of the soul but just enjoy each others company. I am enthralled in all of your work Brooke. Thanks for sharing

To adewpearl,
Quite a sweet and endearing poem of two youngsters that offer their friendship to one another and a promise that will affirm anything that would stand in it's way.
Very nice cadence and picture of them both(possibly making googly eyes) LOL
* would love to try this type of poem but just can't get the drift of it.

Hi Brooke! Sawyer makes for such wonderful content from you, and Miranda's pictures are awesome. I know I've said this before, but I do hope you are creating a book. I understand what you are saying about it not being in your nature to be bold, and I appreciated that thought in this poem. It's not an easy format. Kudos to Yeltel for creating challenging prompts that are "not blind." I'm looking forward to reading all of the entries. I expect nothing less than perfect form from you as you're a pro. Some may question the near rhyme of consigned/design, but I felt it flowed in a lovely way. Best of luck, as always, although I doubt you need it LOL! Hugs, Sue

Thanks so much, Sue. I do appreciate your encouragement. Yes, there are some people hung up on perfect rhymes all the time, but my idea of what constitutes poetry and theirs is just not the same thing. LOL I also appreciate Yelena's sponsorship of not-blind contests. :-) Brooke

What a lovely poem, Brooke. I really enjoyed the deep romance and strong message of a love that must be pursued. Precious photo of Sawyer and his little girlfriend. I enjoyed very much and wish you the best of luck in the contest!

Dear Brooke - that is so sweet, time flies by too fast and before you know it they are out in the big world. I loved the simple lines in this one, made it more endearing somehow. Great poem and as always well penned and filled with smiles. Good luck in the contest.
Thanks for sharing my friend.

A lovely photo of the two children and a lovely pantoum sonnet about love and friendship and taking the chance to share. I love the repeating lines and this reads beautifully. Good luck in the contest Brooke.

Superb poem of love that cannot be withheld and must be entrusted and consigned! Eloquent and masterfully penned with good flow, rhyming and devices, as usual--and a lovely presentation with your adorable Sawyer with Chloe.
Favorite lines:
I still entrust what I cannot withhold,
for hearts will wither if they're not consigned.
Though it is not my nature to be bold,
I can't refuse to follow love's design,
Love,
rd
