Brooke: beautiful Pantoum poem. I'm really only recently beginning to appreciate these seemingly delicate pieces of poetry. And, I sure that it is your work which is inspiring me. Very nice work and picture. Linda

A beautiful phantoun sonnet, Brooke, a magnificent tribute to love you pay here, if there wasn't love abroad in the earth we would all shrivel up and die, I concur with all you say! Nice ababcc rhyming with proximate, even meter! Blessings, Roy.

I can't refuse to follow love's design - what an interesting line - so often the mots tragic of tales this refusal is what happens. We love but tell our selves it is not real or distrust that love - if only it were as simple as following the feeling!

Pantoum sonnet... why not? And this is superb, as usual. You've illustrated it with those adorable kids, yet it suits adults as a romantic sonnet. :)

One of my favorite forms, Brooke. I love the geometric
repetition. It's like looking at an idea in the round.
Read one at a time, your verses hold together.
But read as you intend, they build.
Peace, Lee

I just figured out the draw-back to being the number one poet on this site. I was looking at some of your poems the other day and noticed the awesome number of reviews you often get...this one got 106. I don't see how there are enough hours in the day to respond to all of them!!!! And that is just one poem...lol
-
I do get behind! A few times I've finally cleared the count when I was just ridiculously behind.

Plus, you even find time to de-spag my charming posts...you are amazing too.
