This brought tears to my eyes. I wish there were no sad and unhappy, mistreated kids in this world. Ain't gonna' happen, I know. I very much like the way your sentences run on. It's called something in poetry but I can't remember what. This is a sad but very well penned poem. No awkward phrases here! I'm not a qualified critic, but very much liked this style.

This is very well written poem of despair seeking relief. It has a smooth flow of words, making for a very emotional read. Good imagery.

"Just a boy's wish was all Rylan wanted. Now the door to his life had a key." - This is a thoroughly inspiring summation. This is a beautifully constructed and uplifting piece. Nicely done and I thank you so much for sharing this with me.

I found this poem heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. I could picture the boy and his tears and his sadness. I could also picture the light in his face upon seeing the magical rainbow. Well done! Thank you for sharing your work.
