Oh no, not Winston. Please, kill him off this time. Just want to mention that you write children well which is not exactly easy to do convincingly. Like art, they sometimes come out looking (in writing, sounding) like little adults. You keep them children.

I hate killing people, but I'm trying to convince myself that he is one that should be killed in a fiendish way. Appreciate that you think I'm writing the kids well. Good to know.

Barry got a nasty surprise when Elsa was not where she was supposed to be. I knew Winston had something to do with the whole thing. This is another great chapter and I didn't spot any obvious errors.

Yeah. I've had Winston waiting in the wings for awhile. I didn't want him bringing the army with him though!

All the bases are covered, except the cat. lol More mystery for us to look forward to solving, and the chase gets more difficult as the bad guys fan out.

"He stood (their) dumbfounded." No, no, no, Mikey. It's (there)

Everything us moving right along smoothly. A good idea I think to get to dry land. Vegas an excellent choice!! With the music connections of Harpster and the others that can get some play. NG

Thank you. I thought that was a good idea to get them out of the water. Yes! I want to get Ruby and Diamond up on a stage and back in the story. mikey

Pretty scene. It's getting good. I always like lots of characters and live action!!! Woo--your author notes are growing. Aye, mate, this looks extra good! I can tell, you put extra work in it, I like the introduction of new characters. It's excitement to the fullest. I will read it again, so, I don't miss any key clues. I never took the Catalina ferry when I lived at Upland. You can definitely tell where the scene is at, using this letterbox technique and headers in blue. Really, looks good, I must say. Over all, a good addition to this novel. This thing is taught as a mizzen, lugsail, jiggers, aback tradewinds. Shipshape. Mostly, I enjoyed it, which is good enough for me.

Trying to make it easy to follow. We're here, no we're here, now we're there...... Hahaha. Yeah, a lot of characters running around. The Catalina ferry is cool, the seagulls go along with it all the way to the island catching bread thrown from the boat. Reba was on board one time. mikey

So it's Winston's doing... of course! Should have let him rot in jail. Do the other kids know where Angela hides? I guess they must. I'll feel better when they are rescued. Hurry up! :)

The other kids are a lot more passive than her. They come from poorer backgrounds and have had bad treatment from Elsa and the others. They see what she does and it scares them more than anything. Hopefully it will inspire Trip to take some action with her. We'll see. mikey

That was an interesting chapter, lots of action and loose ends being tied. So, Barry escaped and all the action is moving to Vegas now, should be fun. Enjoyable and great read. Faye

Yeah. I don't like Barry so I think they're going to catch up to him pretty soon. Hahaha. I thought Vegas might be a fun back drop. mikey

I have clearly jumped into the middle of this, but as far as I can tell it is a fascinating story. Still, too much to catch up on. Maybe sometime in the future I can find the time to go back and read this from the beginning...both books. Just though I'd check in and add one more to your number of review (always good). Keep up the good work and let me know when you start a new book, so I can get in on the action from the start.

I will. Glad you stopped by. I do appreciate you adding to the numbers, they have slipped a bit! Hahaha. I'll let you know. I'm tired of writing about these guys, but don't tell anyone... mikey
