Oooh...bad hair day? Loved your jiggling and jiving - maybe you could take up square-dancing? A happy-happy poem that got one foot tapping - Hee, Hee. On second thoughts - take Sawyer Line dancing? He would love it, Nora would too. A story for you. :-)

Kay, thank you. LOL All of us line dancing, now that would be something. He was being brilliant again today. When he was playing in his kiddie pool, he got out and told Miranda - I need a little break to put sunscreen on. - I'm here to tell you, my children could not construct sentences anything like that when they were 25 months old, and they're both super smart :-) The kid awes me :-) Brooke

Sawyer sounds like he is an old soul (been around before) check his eyes and you will see, he doesn't blink when he listens to you?

To adewpearl,
A very lively poem that wants to keep you going.
Very good alliteration noted.
And with areas of proximate rhyming that makes for a dilly of a day.

Brooke, you know this reminds me of dancing when getting new shoes... only with bare feet. With a song in my heart I start to dance. No joy can anyone steal when you have jivin' feet. To Nora - You go girl! Oh, fun poem too. Mike

Oh boy do I miss those days when I was adventurous enough to step into a fountain without worrying about being arrested. Great poem with great action verbs and vive de jour. Nice photo as well.

Gretchen, thank you so much :-) Yeah, Nora is at that lovely age that she doesn't even know what being arrested means yet. LOL

Hi Brooke,
What fun this is. In my mind's eye I can see a bunch of white mice singing in high pitched voices and kicking their little legs. That ain't no jive, girl.
Hugs,
Lou

Love it.... and of course the rhythm of the verse is just begging to be sung, and danced. This would be a great rhyme to use at a childrens dance class... how did you sit still long enough to type it?? :-D

Great rhyme and a fun poem. The mood that we sadly leave behind as we grow older. LOved these lines:
"I'm jivin' to joy, and I must confess,
if anyone minds, I couldn't care less --..."
The picture is aanother well-taken shot. Pete
