This is yet another beautiful poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. Nora is the centre of attention this time and she looks like she is having fun. Ah, the joys of youth. I remember it well.

My pleasure.

Very upbeat. Like the sound of J words throughout. Gives it a nice rhythmic sound. The rhyming is spot on. Sometimes all we wanna do is just jump and shout our happiness. Well done. Les

It sounds like the kids had a great time out in the yard with the hose that day! You've got a real action shot with this one. Both the poem and the picture show real action, and it's happy action, Giddy

Happy feet. great job of alliteration I the letter (j.) Not an easy letter to replicate in a poem, but this takes exception. A whimsical that could be put to music.

Perfect jazzy rhythm! What a Mohawk captured in mid-air! Love your first three lines:
"I'm jivin' to joy that jiggles my toes
and jammin' to jazz my heart only knows.
I'm feelin' the pulse of a jitterbug beat"
Love the whole poem in fact! What a breath of fresh air!
No sixes left, I'm afraid. They all seem to have danced off in other directions!

Well, what with the AABB and the meter and deftly rendered dialect, this is an easy review. The poem is a nimble featherweight and quite excellent.

You've used the 'j' word a lot here, Brooke. Just the little 'j', bu the alliterative effect really helps this joyful, jolly, jazzy poem to hum along with the great rhythm you intended. You are so prolific, I just can't keep up easily. No wonder you are no 1, a title you ttally deserve.
