Moving along. The story is smooth and the surprises are many. But you fold them in flawlessly and I never get lost. The Bard is a unique charachter and beyond funny. This has TV written all over it. NG

This is good planning, (the rat with the chip) as good as a cell phone for tracing location. I think Bard must have written some of Bob Dylan's later songs, the ones that had senseless lyrics.

Lucy wrote on a piece of paper and showed it to Susan(d),drop 'd'.

Mikey, loved the ironic humor in this one. A clever way to trace Elsa's whereabouts when she picks up her bugged cat or if someone else does...hummm. Keeping the reader on edge. Original plot and its filling out nicely. One small thing, misspell The cat spied diner - should be dinner. :0 GracieAnn

Good idea to spread out the chapters a bit. That will help when you promote. Your regulars can't take advantage of promotions unless it is something new. Yep, "altar!" I'm a deacon now, I should know that. I hope they don't find out and want to alter me. Never thought about "dove" until you pointed it out! What should it be, "dived" then I suppose. Yes, we use "dove" all the time, second nature. Never even connected the two before. Duh!

Yeah dived is Aussie and probably more acceptable anywhere else except on the West Coadt of Amurrika hehe well particular Boston would be friendly to more correct English hang over the Tea party or some such huh! I do have tons of Carrots to give out so no worries there. Lucky you are a decon mate multiple married men would not qualify in our circles. But hey we have peter Ruckman in our stable of bible correctors and he has some wer=ird ideas and as well as that with all his bible perfection he is off on several issues including having been married several times and STILL a pastor!! Not allowed! Ok nuff said for nmo0w. Good hearing from ya mate.

A lot of happenings in this chapter, and the cat-rat incident was very cutely written, although I don't like cats or rats. Well-written chapter, enjoyable as always. Faye

I'm terrified of rats! Hahaha. I saved it for a buddy on site. I like my cats cause they don't want anything from me!! It works out well, leaves me time for my cocker spaniel.

The cat and rat story- "...Just to introduce a clever plot twist"..hah! Poor deux ex machine rat. Barry's laugh as a popped truck tire filled with hot oil- spot on. Remember Beverly Cleary? Next time, give the rat a motorcycle.

Poor little rat got eaten by the nasty little cat, what a sad thing boohoo. Well, maybe they can save some of the children from being sold like cattle.

Aha! Very clever reason to have the cat eat the rat. Now we have a connection, indisputable. I hope they can find Nettie... who knows where those monsters might take or hide her.
