Loved the pic and the notes. How many poems do you have of Sawyer? Must be a book by now. Loved this one too for its direct and passionate simplicity. Well done as usual.

Hi adewpearl
HI adewpearl
What a beautiful love inspired poem. I think the last line is six star, and maybe all lines are that, but again I gripe with these large images set on default by FS. This photo is very blurred, and I cannot give an overall six when the photo is as much a star as the words. My apple computer is new and the latest model...so I must assume it is a technical FS fault. I will write to Tom. I enjoyed. Marion.

Thank you, Marion. I don't use the new setting often, but I thought this photo benefited from being enlarged because the figures are small. It is a deliberately soft focus photo, and I love the effect of that. Brooke

Me too, but I still feel the two children should be in focus! I just reviewed another poem, where the photo was the star, and it was also blurred. I did write to Tom.

I honestly don't think it is a Fan story problem - it looks this way on face book where she first posted it too - it's taken with a camera phone from a distance, and I'm sure the focus is soft on purpose in addition

I just looked at the photo she first posted and this version, which is the instagram version where she uses apps to manipulate the image, and the instagram version that you see here is a softer focus than the original, which is why, I guess, I first thought that this was purposefully a soft focus.

Thanks! Don't worry .. I've seen quite a few poetry photos blurred on this full image setting that I felt compelled to write to Tom. In all my years here, I've only done that twice!! I take very good quality photos (300 dpi) and every one I have attempted to load with this new format is blurry on the preview. I've tried the large, medium and small options also and have always had to go back to traditional, and in most cases, I didn't post at all, afterall!! As a big FB user myself (all photography) this does not happen to my photos on their uploads. M.

What a wonderful poem about companionship. I can see the two children strolling together, even without the fantastic picture. Your grandson, as always, is adorable.

Perfect poem in rhyming couplets and perfect 8/7/7/7 syllables per line. A lovely poem but I was wondering where Sawyer was till I read your author notes. Oh how sweet of little Nora to call Sawyer her brother and they walk along so happily together. Good poem - better pic. LOL - Thanks Brooke. Regards Dorothy

Dorothy, thank you so much :-) She goes up to people in parks, etc, and tells them he's her brother I have no idea how many folks out in the world think it is so. LOL Brooke

Hi Brooke - it is so sweet and Sawyer just goes along with it happily. A lovely age - it flies by so soon. Dorothy

Another of your poems, Brooke, beautifully done. I love the 'grass grows greener' and 'hand in hand, two hearts made whole' alliteration. You meter and rhyming are very nice. I questioned the use of "you and I" in the second stanza compared to "you and me" in the other two and looked it up. It appears that both are correct! Thank you for sharing your talent with us. Hi Brooke:)
I never tire of your poems of any selected format. This is an inspirational poem that illustrates budding young love with great rhythm and beautifully rhymed couplets.

Once again you have six star perfection, but my stars a already running low, so I offer more love and Irish Hugs,

Roger

Awww - This is such a sweet poem. It is so nice to see two people sharing the gift of life in such a positive way.
Perhaps when they are older, Sawyer and Miranda will look back on these years and remember when their bond of friendship started.
Rose.
