I positively pounce when I see a poem of yours is posted, Brooke - does that tell you just how much I love reading your work? This is, as always, absolutely precious! "The grass grows greener..." where there is love! (How clever!)

Brooke, you write a lot of exceptional leave Britain homes but this one comes to heart because of the exceptional chosen picture that you had used for your poem. Your words were very simple but direct very expressive and stimulating. Your rhythm flowed smoothly throughout your poem and your rhyming was neither forced, labeled or strained. Thank you for sharing this with everyone and may the Lord be with you always.

Hi Brooke,
I love the pairing of green grass (something in nature) with a human relationship. It's always intriguing to have the opportunity to visit your imagination.
Oh, here's an update. There are now roughly 30 bee corpses lying on the floor. I brought up a can of Raid and am squirting the hell out of them. I'm waiting for Hubby to come home to open up window because it's stuck. Want to squirt the outside.
Hmm...Thirty little bumblebees are laying on the floor - catchy, ain't it, lol.
Hugs,
Lou

Dear Brooke,
It's really cute when little kids show affection to each other. It is even quite inspirational, as your poem attests. Lovely rhyme and meter, too. Great job--Ted

Thanks so much, Ted - not that they are always hand in hand. He's three years younger, so Nora can lose patience with him like any older sibling does. LOL :-) Brooke

Phyllis, thank you so much :-) I am sure they will dance at each other's weddings but not marry each other. Nora is Jewish and her family is very serious about being Jewish. She goes to Hebrew School full time kind of serious. LOL They all love Miranda and Sawyer and think it's adorable that she considers him her brother, but marriage is not in the cards. ;-) Brooke

Aha. Jewish girls, more than guys, have to marry in the religion, since it's the woman who carries the religion meme. My daughter's guy is "Jewish" but not really, since his dad is but not his mother. The weird thing is, after about ten years, she converted to Judaism and he changed to something else, some nondescript Unitarian church. People do funny things. :)
Hmmm... I wonder now if Kalan is considered Jewish after all. LOL!
