Brooke, that is so lovely. We should look closer at these lovely things that Nature gives us, and then we would see these wonderful surprises we are gifted with. Sawyer seems to have found his own surprise, LOL, Andy seems to be enjoying it too!! LOL. xsx Sandra

This is a great reminder of all the weird and interesting things that happen in nature. I had a surprise this morning. The stinking bees have returned outside my office window, starting their yearly swarming. I've already had to kill six of those suckers that made their way inside. Try turning that into one of your charming, upbeat poems, lol.

Hi Brooke,
This is a great reminder of all the weird and interesting things that happen in nature. I had a surprise this morning. It's no wonder.
I think I'm going to quit writing horror all together, concentrate on happier, nicer things, like lilies in fields awash with color, and creeping caterpillars crawling craftily along.

We only have to look and accept the things we see to find beauty and metamorphosis all around us :-). I love the message of your poem, Brooke, and the beautiful way you go about presenting it. As usual, you've taken a form and given a great example of how to put it to use.
