Ever since reading Bradbury' s book, Dandelion Wine, I have always wondered what it tastes like. Maybe it does taste like a giggle. Good, creative abc.

Oh, what a very clever idea for this ABC poem, and so poetic >> those last two lines are wonderful! I've never tried the brew, and from all I've heard, probably would detest it - I like fruity drinks I'm afraid - not much of a drinker. :)

Okay, had to look it up on the net. Apparently, there is such a thing. And the video shows the amber tint. What makes this work is your last line with "giggles" bringing back fond memories of childhood. :-)

I used to have a neighbor who made dandelion wine. Often she would visit with her new batch and by the time she left, she was weaving to and fro. My mother never would touch it, because she didn't trust the woman who made it. I liked you verse and love thedescription of the amber liquid. Great job.

'Colors blushing cheeks' Love the c's. Reminds me of mu Mom purring a yellow dandelion under my chin and saying that I liked butter. Am olde English 'thing' I guess. Loved the piece.
