Nicely done! Reading this poem I sense sadness and pain in your words. Unfortunately some memories we'd like to forget hang around unwanted. Hopefully there will come a day when there will be good memories to crowd out the bad ones. Good job on this.

Very nice job of conveying your feelings about something lost but of choice. Time can bring that love, joy and laughter back to fill the emptiness. These memories you want to erase cannot be of all the wonder places you have been in your life because in that you have been blessed. Perhaps they can overshadow the void for now. Blessings to you!

Your poem flows so smoothly, with it's sad message. Your hurt emotion comes through in each line, with sadness and painful memories you'd like to forget. The numbness eventually goes away, but it does take time.

"I see you" as the Africans say upon greeting each other.
Your poem, I see it and understand. So well written and expressed and the feeling described. But you know as in sport there comes a time when we no longer play. Then we become a spectator and if we so choose, we become a guide/coach. It is the next level Pili. We experience the love and light in a different way. It does take some getting used to, but it is really worth every emotion of "nothingness". I hope you understand??

Sorry you are going through this, my friend, but sometimes the worst of memories can be a blessing. I can remember my father abusing me, for a long time, but now I use that as a tool to help stop others from getting abused. Hope you feel better!
