I loved the humour and light heartedness of this chapter. The characters are still as alive as ever. Interesting developments in the plot. Enjoyable as always. Faye

Yay! It wasn't Winston. Thanks for keeping him out of the picture. I assume Barry is someone from Diamond's past and has nothing to do with Blackwell or the Chinese. Looking forward to the Bard talking to the kid's. Just a thought- you might want to do some research on Tourette's Syndrome . The Bard shares some of the same characteristics.

Yes, you are moving along fine here. I understood it with the intro and found no mistakes. You have a nice balance between narrative and dialogues.

Ah. New characters. Angela seems interesting. Smart and you are not dumbing her down. Good fot you. Many people of great intelligence already had it at an early age. Wondering who the kidnappers are and their morivatiin. Susan may have a past... getting good already. The Bard is off the hook. Love it!!! NG

Looks like the old security system may reveal clues? Always good to have a backup plan,, and you did. I like the suspense. the boat scene and all. This is like bait. People are the fish. You just hooked me. I won't to know, and got to know what is gonna happen aboard that boat, Uncle Barry seems a suspect, aiding to the kidnapping. You are finding ways to continue the story. Another tributary off the main river. Good addition to the novel. It has grip. Boy, I wish I had more bait for me book. Hard to get new reviewers, they got lock jaw. Outstanding, mate. I need this review, I fell to #100, can't lose me pen. Later Mikey. wackydo

Angela is no dummy. She will probably help in her freedom. There is a grain of truth in every insane thought. The girls may find this truth in the Bard's ramblings. Fighting over wealth may bring out unknown suspects. There are two reasons for the conflict. Greed and crime are the two reasons. Find the reason and narrow down the suspects. The girls and Bard are up to it. Great work.

Uncle Barry and Aunt Elsa kidnapped their niece? That's pretty tacky! Not a very functional family, is it? And she knows them, can ID them, so what are they thinking? To bribe her with some of the money?

Overall, great chapter, and the bard is awesome as always!
