Great job with the continuation of your story line. Interesting phenomenon that occurred after Jana and Father Brian were run off the road. Matthew and Aaron are going to check it out. 8-)

Hi, Bev.
Wow! What a chapter. The excitement builds with each scene to an amazing finish. Your descriptions and conversation between Jana and Father Brian is excellent. She let's her feelings be expressed, her pain and underlying fear. The second part of the chapter is great! The dialogue and imagery is excellent. Bravo to you! This is fabulous writing!
Bye my friend
Hugs
Rosalyne :)

Aw, thanks so much, Rosalyne. The action should be pretty consistent from here to the end. Thank you so much, not only for your generosity and encouragement, but for your kind words. I always feel great after reading your reviews.

Jana takes kind of a hard line with Father Brian in this, not giving the Catholic church any allowance for sexual abuses committed by priests. Jana is looking for earthly justice. Excellent dialogue. Tense, exciting moments when Jana's car is struck by a mysterious truck with no license plate and plunges into the river. Supernatural forces seem to be controlling what's happening here. Matthew goes down to see what has become of the passengers, but the sword appearing in the sky makes it a scary proposition. Excellent work, and six stars. I always look forward to your chapters. judi

Another fine example of your prowess as a detailed, descriptive and wonderfully talented writer, Bev...

I feel helpless because I feel so sorry for Jada. It's almost as if I've gotten to know her, and I want to warn her, to tell her that the Devil, himself is hot on her heels (no pun intended), but can only sit back, helplessly reading away and watching everything unfold.

The tense atmosphere permeated every word, in nearly every paragraph of this chapter of the continuing saga from the Along the Jericho Road series/book.

Book of the month once again, perhaps? Well, I don't see why not, Bev!

Most excellent...

Dean, you are always so gracious. Thank you for this grand review as I truly admire your ability to write the supernatural/horror genre. I do have a few more surprises up my sleeve, but this has always been, for me, about Father Brian's faith. Warmest regards, Bev

You are always welcome, my dear friend. That goes without saying.

Aaron Noff doesn't really register with me. Guess it's been a while since he's made an appearance. One of the bad guys, I guess. Well written, Bev. I like the vernacular.

Reading on, I discover they're police and I seem to remember them from the last crime scene. Cool!
I enjoyed your imaginative car landing. Fun to play with the laws of nature, uh? Very creative, Bev.

Oh, now I finally read the notes and remember who the guys are. I'm not very 'with it', today. I enjoyed the read, Bev.

Thanks Adrienne. Aaron and Matthew haven't been featured in quite a while. They've been on hold until I could find a use for them LoL.

I really appreciate your generous review and support for the write, my friend. So glad you 'enjoyed' reading.

If I saw what they did, I would also like to get the hell out of there. This is another brilliant chapter that is really well written. The story flow is great and the dialogue excellent. You describe the scenes very well.

Ooh, exciting reading, dear Bev. You could say the devil is after Jana. Boy, what a performance with the car rolling and Matthew and Aaron watching the whole scene. Lots of good tension and conflict. Loved it. luv jada

The unmistakable rumble of a souped-up engine drowned out (Michael's)[Matthew's] reply.
