I didn't realize this was the beginning of a new book. Only after rereading the title did i notice. You do a great job of summing up what happened in the first, what's going on in the second, and building anticipation for what may happen in the next. Nice work with this one.

Damn, this was a killer and I almost missed it? Nice addition to the novel. You work hard. I like the chopper. Guess, you can't miss them big bold red letters. It gets your attention, I do like it. Sorry, for me tardiness. Maybe, a few doubloons is in order.

This is a real gem of a beginning for a new book mate. What about my idea of resurrecting Mel Brooks for the Bard's part in a movie. All so funny! Hope you are gonna look at my new inserted Chapter 22 of my Autobiography. A comment and one spag maybe
...okay, no vital organs (injured?). or was it a mass castration ho hum!
I liked in one of the writers stories about a guy with his leg raised so Rory could see his "rod and his tool box" ha.

This is a great chapter and has that nice little surprise of the helicopter escape. Winding up. it leaves the reader to believe that Bard has found his true love but also leaves it open for changes in the next book. It is a good transition to book two.

Glad to see The Bard survived, and now you can start afresh. This go 'round - I know you are sick of hearing it from me - focus on the bard and Tenyaya in some more down-to-earth sleuthing. And your headline - commin' should be comin'.

Wow, that was an exciting chapter, I thought I had missed the end of the book. Well written, with lots of potential for the continuation of the story. Enjoyable read. Faye

So Winston has escaped? I am sure the Chinese is not too happy with him though, and he will live his life looking over both shoulders. This is very well done.

Lillith STILL doesn't know Harpster's alive? She should by now, I would think. LOL! So Winston has escaped to do more dirty deeds. The chase is on! Yaaayyy!

I like it. You tied up the loose ends and gave us something new to think about. Although now that Winston is loose I don't think I would be sleeping too deeply at night if I were one of the good guys. Ruby better hire some real good security because I'll bet that Winston is gonna be out for blood. And he still has a biological weapon. Good job.
