Dean, everything you have brought up in this excellent contest entry, I have experienced. My brother, sister and my friends were aghast by the way I did things. Keeping my faith in God was how I made choices with the moral issues that presented themselves to me. To be honest dean, there was one female that tested my faith. I prayed to Jesus for His help in resisting her advances. Then, one day she came to me and said, "You are by far the strongest man that I have ever met. Something tells me that it would be better for us to be good friends instead of lovers." He answered my prayer.

I truly believe Dean, that you may be one such a person. I ordinarily shy from slogans, anything set in stone, but there's lots of relevance in what your acrostic says, esp. when tied to the notes. Kenny

I really like the artwork. The poem was succinct yet powerful. It conveyed the message in a straightforward manner and it's very empowering and inspirational. Good luck on the contest. :)

I completely agree with your notes, Dean. Though I have no strong Faith, I always pride myself on my honesty, and my caring nature - even though it may not always come over that way. :-)
Excellent acrostic (not one of my fave forms) with terrific values and positivity in doing the right things, expressed. Your advice is very caring and should give strength to many who have self-doubt.

Thanks, Dawn, I'm so happy to hear you say that. When I saw the contest, that word just leap to the forefront, and I set about writing what I felt it meant to all of us. I hope it inspires some who may be thinking about giving up to keep going, and never give in.
