I ve read both last two chapters and this comment comes for both, for I became lazy...( short time really).
You are suggesting that Ess has been implanted with the command to return and she will have it badly of without Daisy whilst Oz is scared to continue. Yet, you cant split them and Daisy must be found or the story ends. You are at a crossroads, what will you do?

Thanks. Yes, Oz and Ess have always been a team. Splitting them up is uncharted territory for both of them

Whew! Oz's explanation of a stroke sounds chillingly accurate. You probably made it all up, but it falls in there so well.
"If you have a stroke, you can kiss goodbye to any hope of me bedding you. I have standards." LOL! Even in the midst of a crisis decision, Oz keeps his eye on the prize - him!
Oh, crap! Ess has to be enchanted to just walk out on Oz. And she can't tell him. Bad stuff, Snod. Next!
