This chapter is well written and could be interesting if I had been able to figure out who everyone was. I think I have the dogs straight. The people I'm not sure about but that's to be expected since I'm reading a chapter from somewhere other than the beginning of the book. It might have been helpful if you had put in a few author's notes to guide the reader.

This is a very well done and clean chapter. The dialogue is very realistic and fleshes out the characters very nicely. Well done chapter. Congrats on the book of the month nomination and Good Luck.

Well, oh my Lord! I've don't think I've ever read such language from you..I'm all a twitter..lol. I loved it! You're gang slang and cop talk was right on, and the end fight scene wowed me...and then there were two...perfect! I'm thoroughly impressed and promise I'll get around to going back to the beginning. I'm almost done setting up shop here.

Whoopee, lookee there at that sixer. Daggonit girl, how super. Thanks so much.

Hope I didn't make your ears bleed! Actually, I've toned it down a bit. I only use 'those' words when none others will do.

Can't wait for an update email from you! Good grief, girl, I've missed you! Give Rob a hug, and one for you

LOL, Barb, they love the support.

I just couldn't figure out how to do this, and then this idea popped up and it was perfect. So glad you agreed! Thanks for the great sixer and your support through this one!

Is this the end of the story, finally with Hamid, the horrible subdued, by dogs and the gangs entry to the plot is merely a welcome cover for the death sentence of Hamid through the deadly pangs of the Rex and the gun too. Did I get the story right? But I did enjoy this final chapter. Well done.

Hi Nassus, you did pretty good following the plot, and thank you so much for the great comments and support.

We have one more chapter to go, and then it's a wrap!

    Thanks so much,

Bravo, Gail! This is a marvelous chapter from the get-go. I appreciate the way you balanced each "group"...Jim, Ella and Lenny; Brad and Julia; the gang dudes; and, of course, Hamid. Love how you positioned Hamid to orchestrate personal grief through his own devious plan to attack from the shadows, saving Julia and Brad in the process. Every the players and each scene contributed to a super-paced Doberman finale. Yeah!

You must have been inspired - to have Hamid removed before either Brad or Julia had to be activated against him, yet still managed to arrange for the Dobs to, "show their stuff", with the gang dudes. Underlying the action, the assignation site becomes a strong player in its own right, thanks to the park's history of violence. Great plotting!

If there are any housekeeping bits, I missed them entirely during a read loaded with action and smoothly presented. Also, am sending you a High-5 for your canine work descriptors.

Oh Helen, y'know for certain chapters we like to see certain fans show up because we know 'this one' is just going to rock their socks. I thought of you as I was building this one out, and I'm all tittering at what the dogs are doing, how they're working solo and in tandem, and I thought, Daggonit! I'm gonna deliver! And Helen and Bev and Suz, in particular, are gonna love it. Yea me!

Deep sigh, so glad you liked this one. Thank you so much for the grand sixer, but mostly for being there for me and enjoying my kids! Here's a thumb!

    Hugs and love,

Thanks for the pleasure of another great chapter. I can hope that Hamid got what he deserved and won't be any more trouble. And, who knows, maybe the other reported deaths were lies meant to enrage and make Julia react without thinking. Great job. :-)

Hi. Ah, a crime story with dogs...does it get any better! My heros were always dogs..now I watch Comissionor Rex, an Austrian dog and cop series...great, the dog is the best part...I digress.
I like the action in this, I think it plays out real.

Hello, my friend, and thank you for the wonderful comments and great review. I'm the same way. This entire series - 8 so far - have lots of dog action, most a lot more than this one, actually.

Thank you so much for reading along - you're most appreciated.

Hey shell, I just had to get the team involved, and it didn't feel good to have murdering heroes, no matter how deserving the villain, so I did the next best thing, lol.

The next chapter will be funny and you'll love it, as a long time fan.

    Hugs and thanks,

Damn, woman--that was great! I loved the action and the dogs were wonderful. Kept me on the edge of my seat while the homies got what they deserved--stealing the Hamid chew toy from our super dogs! Wanted them to get first crack at him.

Cashregister - two words

Loved it!
Best wishes,
Rita

Hey Twinnie! Ya gotta admit, ten years behind the mast done made all the difference in the writin' eh? Oh, do you remember me in the beginning? Oy, I thought Dickie would murtalize me.

    Will catch spaggie!

Thank you for the sixer, it's gorgeous, and thanks for the great words of support - they're the best.

On to the penultimate chapter, one last and an epilogue.

A long way from the kids and their horses, huh? You've found your genre--killer dogs and thugs. LOL Will hate to see this one end. Love the photo--had to see it on the front page gobbling up the competition! LOL

You are such a dear, so generous, I can't ever thank you enough. It'll bring in a whole new generation of readers, even if it's the second to the last chapter!

We are getting a new road installed and we've been under siege by the street department for two straight weeks! I'm literally housebound, as you can imagine, my little Angel, crud she can't be six inches off the ground, true story, and even Jeff in his work truck is having a hard time. Tomorrow is the last day, we can't drive on it at all, but after that...

    Let us pray!

    Again Twinnie, you're the tops!
