Well, you made me laugh in 500 words. I had no idea where this was going, but I was laughing out loud at the end.
The only blip I noticed was ..."navigate the web like NASCAR driver." (missing 'a' before NASCAR)

That would be pretty cool, that whatever you wrote -- the favorable things, anyway --should come to life and manifest themselves in reality. Heck, I'd have to stop writing horror stories though, I'm afraid, and that wouldn't be much fun, for me, anyway. I wouldn't care to have some of the things I've written come to life. Uh-uh, no way!
An interesting story, with a devilish little "twist". Now, if you'll excuse me, I believe a call to an electrician is in order...
