Wow! What a story. On top of that, it rhymes beautifully. No awkwardness; as the sinner feels he's done wrong which I hope happens. Hate to think there's no remorse. Your author notes just add to the realism. So thought provoking. Superb! Les

This is the hardest thing to grasp: how amazing is Christ's grace. That there is no crime so great that, when the sin of it is truly confessed, Christ's grace will wash the sinner clean.

You're absolutely right, Jay. If Christ can forgive those who persecuted his own people so horribly, as the SS and the Nazis did during WWII, then why do we wonder if we;ll be forgiven for our past transgressions? No sin is too great to be forgiven.

    Thanks for your excellent review.

Wow this is a departure - I did not expect. Do they have heavenly firing squads? I suppose the message is that forgiveness is in everyone's reach?

Yep, that's pretty much the gist of it. No matter how heinous the sin, forgiveness can be had by all.

Thanks for your kind review, matjmd.

Dean, this is about as intense as I have seen you write. Your description of what you encountered in heaven is filled with such emotions. Telling us what your surroundings was like there.

Then you tell about the soldier with Jesus who was a Nazi. If I am reading this right, I believe it was Hitler. Your portrayals of Jesus forgiving this man is exactly what we have been taught. I would never be able to forgive Hitler and his henchmen for what they did to the Jews. I never really grasped why these people were tormented, put into slavery and killed. Sad.

This is so very well written. I thank you for sharing this glorious moment you had. Take care my friend,,,,,,Jim

As always beautifully written...what a truly amazing grace! Awesome pictures that compliment your words. I love the message of grace, especially for those that we have a hard time forgiving because their sin happens to be farther reaching than our own. Well done.
