This is a beautifully written 5-7-5 (Haiku) because the topic is on nature rather than human emotion (Senryu). It has a wonderful transition between the lines and excellent imagery with the pink petals paving the way plus great alliteration.

Your syllable count in perfect, and you did make unrhymed lines as needed. I'm not so sure about the human emotion aspect of it. I can't really discern which emotion you are describing.

In the first line, "blossoms" does not need to be capitalized.
This was pretty, but the contest calls for use of human emotion. :(

I would classify this as haiku since senryu are on the satirical side. Also forget capitalization except for proper names. A satori line usually doesn't have a verb.
Fortunately, most voters don't know that. LOL
Lovely use of alliteration with p and b.
