A fun commentary. Open-concept housing is my favorite. Allows the cook to visit with her/his guests without being isolated in the kitchen.

Thank you :)

I relished your energetic, opening line and description of the open and unpretentious design. The arches and use of brick and stone in the pictures is seductive. I can only wish... Hugs- Joan

Mafia family home.... Any dirty dealings go on at the Italian Restaurant, but never in the home. Understood. Just joking with you. Thank you.

Sunni, on a thank you for an architectural Display of a very nice place in fact a beautiful place. I found your rhymes to be neither forced, labored or displaced and your rhythm was flowing smoothly throughout the poem. I love Tuscany architecture and its arches and formulated round curvatures.
Thank you for sharing them posting this for others it may the Lord be with you always.

I enjoyed this poem. Good alliteration in casually coloured arches. The poem evokes imagery of a tuscan building. Good presentation and picture.

Hi, Sunni,
"Casual Living" is an excellent free style poem with good unconventional structure, good flow although slightly begins with a stressed syllable, some good figurative language and imagery (pretty slick for togetherness, casually colored arches) and some slant rhyme Tuscany/Privacy. I do not believe that ...casually... brick needs all of those commas.

The old and the new facade inside the interior design of the house.
At great lengths some will do the ultimate and even a house built upside down for good measure.
When there's a will, there's a way to make our homes look great - any which way we can and called it home, smiles.
Great fun write and entertaining to read too...oh, so pretentiously real are the arches, :))
Cheerio, hugs, Ritchie. :))

I guess when you have the beauty built-in, furnishing is lessened or modified to show off the beauty of the interior/exterior built. I dunno. Just a guess. Thank you :)
-
You are right. If we overcrowd the house with furnishings, the design of the house is gone. We see trash and wood everywhere and cannot even notice the color of the walls, lol.
Cheerio, Ritchie. :))

That's nice. I use to have a bookshelf and doorway with an arch. If there is wood, marble and/or floral detailing it's Persia and/or India inspired. Thank you :)

The layout looks pretty neat. I like the colored arches. I see your concern about privacy. I imagine the bedrooms have doors. LOL. Can you see them without? It'd save the builder some money. Interesting and an entertaining write. Les

I haven't been to Tuscany, but visited Umbria which is next door, we went Rome, L'Aqila, and Assisi, before sailing to the Adriatic Coast, nicely composed little gem here, Alicia, blessings, Roy.

Sounds like you had a wonderful Roman experience. I've never been to Italy. If I visit, I'd want to get an exorcism at the Vatican. I'm probably better off visiting London and eating fine chocolates at Harrods. Thank you :)

Heh heh, heh, they're both wonderful places Alicia, whether chocolates or exorcism! Roy.
