Very nice poem, so well rhymed with good flow.
Most interesting and mysterious drawing to accompany your poem.
I like that thought that we all have an appointed destiny.
All presented in a clear and bright setting.

Well done. Frankeddy

Very good royowen
You are so right when you say each one of has a destiny-
when you said-

seek where the Spirit craves!

You'll always find the path to walk,
only search when you have seen,

Gert

Your life is but a traveler's song, STRONG INTRO
from conception to the grave,

past's persuasive 'p' alliteration
STEAL AWAY your harvest's dream!

For God has planted treasured gems,
where the naked eye can't view,
it's sown within your vision's hem,
reap when HARVEST time is due!

A religious message well phrased and presented.

Regards:

A traveler's song... terrific metaphor for a life. You chose well, carried the music throughout, from conception to grave, and finished with the metaphor of the harvest. Love it. You made this poem speak volumes about hope and joy, life and death.
Excellent.

a life as a travelers song. . .our actions his lyric? or melody?

god does hide the best part of humans away deeply, and sometimes they can only be located through pain

I couldn't agree more :To everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under heaven.
For God has planted treasured gems,
where the naked eye can't view,
it's sown within your vision's hem,
reap when season's time is due!

Powerful poem Blessings, Rouskin

To royowen,
In your own words you have described how searching for one's dreams will only transpire when the Lord has made that pathway for you to increase in measure by the treasures that you have sown.
Nice metaphor: treasured gems,it's sown within your vision's hem

This is a 6. What a mind challenging poem filled with possibilities of our destiny, if we seek, find, and knock. Your writing always encourages me and I have learned, also...that others struggle to be what we are to be.

Yes, I was writing as much for me as anyone, it's like hiding Easter eggs for your children to find expecting they will find them. But we tend to look back! Thank you for this most inspiring and encouraging review! Blessings, Roy.

Your poem is lovely and your authors notes are too. Sometimes we tend to think we are not good enough to pursue that chosen dream, we don't have the confidence to come out and do what we really want to.

... don't let the past's persuasive talk,
come to steal your harvest's dream!...

those words are often the cause of disappointments. The past interferes with our futures too many times. Brilliant poem and a pleasure to read. xsx Sandra
