Such a delightful poem, thank you for sharing. A nice easy read, like the pattern and pace of your poem. The art selection could not have been cuter!

This is very lovely. I enjoyed how well the words flowed and the background color compliments the morning glory in the photo nicely. It's also sweet how you use your son in all the photos you post :-)

Ah...you're grandson...he's very precious. It's always a pleasure to read your postings. You're an amazing writer :-)

when my daughter and son were little I had no time for poetry writing LOL

I know what you mean. Ever since I had children, writing comes few and far between the days. Weekends are where I usually get to fit in my time, especially as they get older.

Near-perfect piece of sweetly rhyming and rhythmical verse, with a relaxed and pleasant feel to it.
Lovely combination of nature and whimsy rolled up in a smooth sounding, melodious poem.
The one line where I felt this dropped away a bit was 'it took little time or effort' - perhaps not as pretty-sounding as he rest...

Brooke, You captured me again. I won't say anything more. But your rhyme and rhythm, to me, is great. Your figures of speech which I find no use to elaborate, again, to me, are outstanding. I'm sure you know what I mean. Dom

What a lovely poem! Indeed, there are things to love during the night and during the day, you just have to take the effort to find them!

Well done Sawyer. Moon asleep and dew on the vines, what a pair. God sure knows how to speak to us. Well done Brooke. Let's give our little Sawyer an A+

I suppose I am spoiled. I love my Grand and Great Grand kids. And of course they all are perfect like that Sawyer. As you know, I am no poet and hardly know how to grade such but I always find your and Sawyers work very refreshing. My blessings to all the family.

A child imagination is delightful as it searches the wonders of the a beautiful morning. It is well written, easy to read. I can't find anything wrong with it and just found it a pleasure to read.

Brooke - so well written and easy to read. You say in your profile that you write about simple things. Not so simple if each post tugs at my heart. Thanks for making me feel better on a down day! Bill
