Ah-h-h-h, the wine glass half full...or, is it half empty? I suppose that would depend on one's personal perspective, would it not?
In any event, alcohol, or "liquid courage" as it's been referenced, does cause us to do things we wouldn't do otherwise. Sometimes, with dire circumstances.

There really isn't anything quite so bad as a champagne hangover. It really doesn't even take that much champagne to get one. Liked the half empty glass. Seems pretty much like the glass is half full before you drink, then it switches to the glass is half empty after. Nicely done. Good luck in the contest.
