what a cute poem about easter egg hunting.with aabb rhyme ,it reads very smooth and draws a graphic picture of happy children hunting for easter eggs with parents nostalgically looking on .is hundred and six the standard number?

I love the photo of the little child putting Easter eggs in her basket.

Aw, Carolyn this is so cute. It brought back memories when all my grandkids were here to do an Easter egg hunt. That was many years ago, but I love it. Still have some precious pictures from that time. Thanks for sharing this. MIss Sally

Beautiful picture and entire presentation of this poem. A lovely poem and thought for Easter. My 12 year daughter asked me if we were doing eggs, like boiling, painting, etc...I was like...ah..don't you think you're to old for that and besides now they have the eggs already prefilled with goodies. She goes..Mom..that is just lazy...I laughed and was like ok..big kid. Great poem.

    Yes the plastic ones are good for those big hunts, but we usually color eggs at home just to have a few. Larry loves boiled eggs. However, not being at home this year kind of put the 'halts' on that one. (Dad Stephens burial is Thursday, 4/24 then we will head back to Missouri) our little grandchildren there have plans for eggs when we get there. They aren't going to let us escape the routine. :-) Carolyn

Dear Carolyn - this reminds me of all those sweet times when the kids were so young, I still have their baskets they used to search for their Easter eggs.

This is a lovely Easter poem that the author has created with this piece of writing. I heard a funny thing on the radio yesterday. The DJ said he was going to combine Easter with April Fools Day this year. He said he was going to get his children to hunt for eggs that he didn't hide.
