It has been awhile since I've seen what you have written, and for that I apologize. Nevertheless, your work is always beautiful and it's some of the best work I've read. This poem is just as wonderful as all your other pieces. All I can say is how great it was and I'll leave it at that. Thank you for sharing.

Lovely seasonal poem which is beautifully written with a good photo for illustration. I can't pick out a stanza as favorite they all seem so good. However I miss some metaphorical significance to make it perfect. don

I love all the colors in the Crayola box. I remember having only the basic eight colors. Lovely rhyme and good use of alliteration with rambler rosé, come -congregate and prettify - preen. Fun to read aloud.
Blessings

A color crayon poem with those lovely colors craftily used. Love that prettify and preen line. A lovely springtime delight. It flow smoothly on abcb lined verse.

Nothing like a wonderful photo used creatively with many, many colors in your well penned poem. Learning new colors is a wonderful thing for a young child to learn. Just love the way you used them here. Thanks for sharing, Deb

Love this colorful poem and presentation, and the Easter theme is timely and upbeat. Periwinkle and magenta are colors most little boys (and certainly most grown men) would not know without help. I would still love to have a box of Crayolas with enough colors to include the fancy ones. My sister and I used to re-name some of them to suit ourseles, like "pretty red" and "pretty blue." Love, Jeanie

Periwinkle is one of my most favorite words, and show them off you have. Whenever I see your name attached to a post I know I am going to smile, I do so even before I read in sheer anticipation of the uplift. The idea of grass striving to reach a goal, and roses "pretifying" (awesome word) is great too. Has me in mind of the talking flowers in Alice in Wonderland. I love it.

To adewpearl,
A wonderful way for your grandson to learn the colors by trying to color and remember all the different flowers that are in your (God's) garden.

A delightful Easter poem, Brooke. You develop from the small (single blade of grass) to "each" rose to all the flowers that act as a backdrop to the "new Easter clothes." Great job!
