Thank you for reviewing (or counting, anyway)
I have no idea where those numbers came from - most reviewers agree with me that the count is spot on and the rules said multiple stanzas were allowed.

No-nonsense Limericks in outstanding rhymed and cadenced form. The corrupting clean type that threatens to elevate this base form of literature to the family reading room. I know who you are. Kenny

Yes, I'm feeling corrupted already! I'll be writing goody two shoes moralistic stories next.
Thanks for the great review.

This is one of the oldest forms of humor and very few can write it successfully. There is a smooth flow of words, making for a very good read.

These were very enjoyable to read, the last one being my favorite of the three. They were all very witty and clever. They had a nice flow and kept within the contest parameters. Good luck!

The limerick and epitaph are a couple of my favorite contests sponsored here on FanStory. They are short and humorous for the most part. You delivered three choice limericks that had me snickering,
Nicely done... John

ooh aah smartie-pants, I'd know this limerick writer anywhere! right down to the mathematical precision of syllable count for the bean counters! I guess that comes with being a Kiwi!

Maybe the smartie pants is the one who thinks she can recognize an anonymous author...
Only one bean counter so far - gave me four black marks despite my best efforts!
-
oh good Lord! a FOUR??? well I just got a THREE for my latest, from someone who told me how wonderful it was!
-
No, I meant he found four lines where the syllable count was wrong...
-
Well I'll just have to go back in and re-count, won't I then? Nothing better to do, right????

Ha, ha, yeah what a concept a clean limerick, but it looks like you have pulled it off. Quite humorously as well, htis is great. Good job and good luck with the contest.

Wow, three limericks for the price of one. I prefer this one the best
A physicist-mathematician
Made constant excitement his mission
Snorted uranium
Into his cranium
And Boom! he achieved nuclear fission
Well done and good luck in the contest Mary

Thanks, Mary.
Seems three for the price of on only works with shoppers, not voters.

This set of three limericks is very funny. Watch out or that passion that runs your life can be the thing that ends it, I guess you can love your work too much. Best of luck in the contest.

This is a definitely funny poem, it made me smile just reading it. I liked having a different story in each stanza. Good luck in the contest!
