I'm no expert on limericks but I find these limericks full of dark humor quite successful.

I used to write limericks to my girlfriend in high school. One actually made her laugh so loud, she got detention. I wonder where that girl is now? I think limericks are an art form and their fun. Good luck.

Limerick, never heard of this style until this site. Your poem is really funny. And it reminded me of the saying, that people who are expert at what they love is eventually consumed or destroyed by it.
