Yes, each shooting star deserves a wish. Thank you again, I am sorry I am so far behind in replies. (I must be working my way backwards.) However, I think I may get caught up today. I had 99 reviews to do when I started out the day. :-) Carolyn

Carolyn, I really like the presentation and you have met the requirements of the Lune with a creative flair. The syllable and line count is perfect. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

Hi, Carolyn.
This is a wonderful line. Superb word economy as you have used each syllable so cleverly.
Your first line is like haiku 'satori' which sets up the base for a scene to be painted. The next two lines beautifully describe the falling of stars. I liked the use 'cobalt' as an adjective here.
Phonetically,it is very rich as well. Nice use of L,T consonance and alliteration of S throughout. It quickly creates images in the mind. Beautiful presentation as well.
Very well-crafted!
Warm regards,
Anupam

Thank you Anupam, I look forward to your reviews. I feel like my 'professor' has just reviewed my work. So glad you found
'Shooting star' to your liking. :-) Carolyn

Professor...heh-heh! I'm still in the learning phase. I appreciate your warm reply. You are doing great by posting a poem a day for the poetry month. It's been a pleasure reading your work. :)

Dear Carolyn,
I like that type of rhyming. Also the choice of
your color word. Not many people use that type of
description! Only 11 more days to go!
God bless!

If you have any suggestions, my brain will probably be toasted by the end of the month. LOL I actually find it a joy. Carolyn

Have you ever done a rispetto. 2 stanzas. The first rhymes in abab, the second in ccdd. Maybe about spring flowers or rain and umbrellas. each line has 8 syllables with a beat of daDUM, daDUM, daDUM, daDUM, daDUM, daDUM, daDUM, daDUM. It isn't too hard. Good luck.

This is a beautiful picture that you have chosen to represent this piece of writing. I am captivated by both the picture and the words. They combine beautifully to create a complete experience.

Hi, Carolyn.
This is a great poem accompanied by a perfect abstract painting, one that reminds me of a Jackson Pollock. It's wonderful to see the night sky without any city light pollution.
Bye
Rosalyne :)
