I give out six stars sparingly. You don't see me do it much. But this poem hits home in OH so many ways. And if it's a true poem about you and about anyone you knew that has ever served our country, all I can say is: THANKS, MANY TIMES THANKS

This was a wonderful poem, so descriptive and moving, it gave an insight into what it must be like as a soldier, your wording was great and I loved the last stanza it was my favourite, I'm not sure about the picture as I'm not sure it adds anything to this wonderful poem,

Most wars are wrong. Very few are worth fighting. Iraq was for the rich to make money and claim Al Qaeda as the reason to invade. We bought it. Your poem is very emotional. My favorite:

"Am I fighting for freedom or the freedom to fight
How many wrongs will make what we do right"
