Alas, we know not what our fate will be oh great one, who writes with feelings of despair. Man, I am afraid is going to be the self destruction of earth and the world as we know it.The Government has lost all ties with the real world we are slowly sliding down the river to oblivian.

Well, I see you have a biblical side as well. You are quite the multifaceted writer. Good rhyme and thoughtful serious tone throughout. How do you find the perfect presentation of sight and sound.

You put a new twist on the meaning of this verse from Revelations. Eerie music enhances the mood as does your presentation both in formatting and color.
There is so much wisdom in your closing couplet. We would be better off if we headed your advice.
You have a smooth cadence to the rhythm of your verse, excellent rhymes and strong descriptive powers.

I held back a six for something very special and this is it.
Did you really experience this moon in that colour ?
Awesome presentation and I love the reference to the Bible quote
Solid rhyming couplets
Where did you find your picture ?
Love the third and fourth lines of the first verse. It is so relevant

Sure looks like armageddon is on its way, at least for the USA that Obama is destroying on purpose, being a commie and a Muslim and saying as much in Dreams from My Father. I blame the media for not doing their job. They'll all suffer too, so there's at least SOME justice.

I enjoyed reading your poem. It flows well with information about end time. I like the reference to Revelations 6:12-14. I will read it tonight. Good alliteration o and w words.

Oh this is such a beautiful poem! So very descriptive and detailed. Maybe those two words mean the same thing, but what I'm trying to say is, you painted such a vision and I could see everything so clearly as I was reading. Great job

I am no expert on the Bible (and, thus hesitate to even ask this) but isn't Armageddon a fait accompli for repentant or not?

Your poem is well crafted and timely, but we've had blood moons in the past and it wasn't the harbinger of Armageddon.

We are told not to look for signs, that it will come at a time when no one will be expecting it.

The Battle of Armageddon is in the New Testament Book of Revelations. This battle gets it's name from Revelation 16:14-16. Actually it might be better to speak of the "campaign" of Armageddon, since it is not one single battle but a series of events in which all the nations of the world are drawn in as participants.

The word "Armageddon" is formed from the Hebrew Words "Har" or mountain, and "Megiddo," a city on a hill--actually a tell--in the northern part of the Holy Land, inland from Mount Carmel (near the modern seaport of Haifa). It is at the "crossroads of the crossroads" where the ancient Via Maris ("Way of the Sea") crosses the central transverse highway of Israel. This commands a view of the Valley of Jezreel, the "breadbasket of Israel." It was a strategic command post for control of the entire area for many centuries. The transverse highway led to the other major caravan route of the day, "The King's Highway." Travelers from Egypt to Syria, Babylon, Persia, and Asia Minor would normally pass this way, and could be taxed by whoever controlled the city. For this reason, the city was often conquered by the various powers which occupied the Holy Land.

Thanks for your comments and review, Jay. Always a pleasure...

Oh, yeah! Says who! LOL, thanks for setting me straight. I know just enough about the Bible to get me in trouble. Thanks for spending the time to explain privately and not put it on the FanStory bulletin board for all to see! Just kidding. Don't think there is such a thing.

Ha ha, hey, I'm not expert on the Bible by any stretch of the imagination, Jay, and I'll state that publicly here for everyone to see. heck, given what I write, I'm sure most have figured that out already, lol! But, I do read it everyday, and I know the Chapter of Armageddon far better than any of the rest. After all, isn't the ending of any book always the most important part?

Well put, my friend! As long as you don't go to the end first and decide you're not interested in reading what led up to the ending.

Not a chance, Jay, my friend. I think I've read the Bible cover to cover about ten times, realistically.

Wow... very nice!I love the photo...you are very talented! The poem is beautiful and delivers an awesome message. It scares me to think about our fate as a nation and what we, as a people, have done to God's beautiful creation. Very nicely done!

I viewed the Blood Moon and was overwhelmed by the sight. You have done a very good job with this and thoroughly enjoyed the artistic presentation too. It certainly give one reason to pause and reflect on the direction man is headed.
