Jesus promises us that he will watch over us. This is very well written with a smooth flow of words, making for a very inspiring read.

I wonder if the poem was inspired by the photo, or was it written and then matched to the image. I'm sure this idea of faith would be a good one to write about anyway, but this is the perfect match. We are all looking for certainty in our lives, some seeking via spiritual means, others hoping for it in earthly pursuits. The latter includes human affection and material gain. But, the one that can only sustain certainty for eternity is in God. The metaphor of the eye of God which you so beautifully explore here, is one of a caring father whow atches over us each day. Now, that's a sense of certainty.

The poem was inspired by what I saw in the sky. I didn't have my camera so this photo was as close as I could get. Thank you for the encouraging words in your review:)

That must have been some sight seeing the clouds broken with the light shining through. You have named it well: The Eye of the Lord. I do believe that is true and you were blessed to have observed this wonderful phenomenon.
Happy Easter, Joan

The picture is magical that really looks the eye in the sky and only the Lord's magical hands can do that. Your poem is an affirmation of that, captured in the beautiful lines of this poem. thanks for sharing and God bless.

You chose a great picture to go with your wonderful words. We know that He looks over heaven and earth, and you can actually make this out to be an eye, how very creative! I really enjoyed reading this. . .Sharon

Teresa, I found out that your poem is a very powerful inspirational and stimulating piece of poetry that definitely shows your inventiveness and creativeness. Your picture complement your palm in this respect: "The light shining through the center of the accumulated clouds creates and eye".
Such resourceful inner rhythmci flow to your piece. Thank you for sharing and posting your work for others and may the good Lord be with you always.
