A very moving write. I am so sorry to hear about your grandson. My dad passed away 40 years ago when I was eleven. I still grieve and the tears fall when I think of him. I can't go to the cometary anymore, so I write tributes to him on 'special' days. There is no right way to feel about something so tragic. I am glad you have your faith to help cope with this loss~Debbie

I used to wonder the same thing when my Mom died on my 12th birthday. God, why was I born on January 27 and my Mom died on January 27? The questions can nearly drive you insane but I learned to stop asking the questions and start making statements of love. Tragedy indeed does one of two things, it can either make you or brake you and I'm being made whole as we speak. If you haven't already, check out my "My House" series.
