Very nice and yes, Beverly hills has that reputation, but you would be surprised how far spread, vanity and botox injections have become. There are botox parties.

What a great picture for this work, but scary! I would NEVER use botox or fillers because of the bad that I've heard about them. I'll grow gracefully old and even decided that I liked the bright silver that I see in my hair, so am growing it out! Hubby says I still look 20 years younger, and he's a dentist using that bright light. I have to believe him, lol. What a great short poem, and I enjoyed. . .Sharon

Yeah, I agree, quite scary. I really don't like the shock value of the picture, but I cannot really find a more tempered substitute for that picture. But when I find one, I will certainly click to edit mode. Thanks for considering this a great short poem.

LOL. Love your humor in this. The picture, along with the well worded three liner is just awesome. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder... NOT! LES

Thanks LES, glad you noted the humor, but in truth, I really don't like the shock value of the picture. I just cannot find a more tempered substitute to drive my point. But I will definitely click to edit mode, when I find one. God bless.

nassus, you have successfully used a short poetry tool to give a warning about the side of beauty that is undercover, so to speak. I know that botox is poison and kills nerve cells so what should we expect. Like a mini stroke under the skin! Well done! :0 GracieAnn

A good poetic shot at vanity. I really had to look twice at the art work that you chose to accompany your poem. It took me several looks to see the girls at the vanity mirror. Well done. Don

This piece meets the criteria of the Haiku poem as this piece does not exceed 17 syllables. Good alliteration with Beverly's/botox...dimpled/dots. Good end rhyming. Good complimentary photo. Clear message that is short and simple.

This is a gruesome warning about the risks of cosmetic surgery and the way in which vanity can reap an unexpected harvest of sorrow.

A very clever social comment on the excessive price of expensive cosmetic adjustments sought by celebrities and the " price " that can ultimately be paid. Great 5-7-5 as well! Well done.blessings, Roy.
