Love your story, and it is a unique entry into the contest. To me, it reads kind of like a prologue with more to follow. Best wishes in the contest!

This is a cool reflective analysis of what might go through a superhero's mind . I often consider the use of such power if I possessed it and what life or death decisions I would make. Great final line to capture the Essenes of the problem.

I liked the metaphor here in this brief, 100 word dash entry, Author 'X'. Sure, it would be easy to do what you wanted to someone if you possessed super powers, as Superman does. But, you still have to grapple with that morality, that finality that should you kill or destroy someone, they're never coming back. No chance of rehabilitation, just gone.

Anyhow, I liked this one, and I wish you the best of luck in the contest.

Very philosophical and original expression of Superman's thoughts.

Indeed, when resorting to killing, when does it stop?

Lucky Luthor. :-)

Excellent read.

Best wishes, Ted

You have done an excellent job in telling a complete story in only one hundred words. I also like the artwork you selected. I guess Superman has to think, what's so special about being alone. Best of luck in the contest.

Nice imagery having the feeling of superman. Yes, Superman is single person and having the same feeling being on earth with just some extra power. It is also difficult for him to finish all the bad happenings on Earth. Nicely written piece so short conveying a meaningful message. Loved reading it.

There's an almost God/Jesus like complex going on in Superman's brain here. It's a real Easter dilemna. I like the morality portrayed in his thinking. Posing that if he kills Luthor, won't there be another to replace him? Perhaps he might also ponder, could he be the true Superman if he killed? I forgot, he's a cartoon character. Good, fun write. You made very good use of 100 words.
