Finally Julia and Brad meet up with Edward and Julia's father. Hamid is a devious person to have a mole and get the information he needs without a problem. The rest is easy enough. Great writing.
Cheers

That Hamid is a wretch, isn't he? And now that we've got that little wicket to contend with, we'll get access to a lot of info as the story unfurls.

Thanks so much, Sylvia. I always enjoy your input and review,

    Hugs,

What an exciting chapter. So much has happened. I'm not sure why my box didn't notify me of previous chapters I can tell I missed, but I'll go back and read them when I have time.

Great writing. You always keep me on the edge of my seat and I"m so excited to keep reading. Great work!

Hi Becca, always so good to see you again. Glad you got the notice and yes, you've missed a lot. Worth going back over if you get the chance.

    Many thanks,

The culture of family honor in the Gulf is totally different form the West and the Asians too. In the name of the family's name, a son or daughter who may have broken the law or disgraced the family may be a subject of manhunt, a curse or even death. I guess your story is exploring this theme and the author is successful in putting together all the elements for a suspenseful mystery and crime fiction. I will wait for the succeeding posts.

Hi Nassus, yes, it's going to involve the differences in the cultures and how a variety of different emotions including revenge, which covers all cultures. Thank you so much for your kind comments and rating,

What a fabulous chapter, Gayle. I love the way you set up the first half with such foreboding and then move into the wonderful second half. What a relief that Brad met with the father's approval. I loved the way you did the dialogue and descriptions of their reactions to one another. I'm so sorry I don't have a six for this great addition to your novel. It's very worthy of one.

Hugs, Bev

Hi Bev, a virtual sixer is great, too.

This one has been something else. The characters just gallop off with the plot and I'm typing as fast as I can and still can't keep up. Oy! I see a lot of rewriting in my future. Thanks for the great comments and review, my friend,

I envy you a bit, Gayle. I wish I could write that quickly. I just don't have it in me -- I'm too cautious LoL. Probably a Scorpio thing.

Brilliant, Gayle! Great inner workings of the mind for Hamid that provide a super-swift means to tumble this story into a kaleidoscope of action.

The entire scenario following Hamid's plotting steps is gentle and calming to the spirits of all the other characters; quite a contrast to the chapter opening. In my opinion, you have managed quite a feat of stitching this story's elements together very concisely in preparation for what's to come.

Hey Helen, y'know, sometimes I can do that so well, that kinda scary, 'gonna get you' kind of scene and then follow it up with something fun or beautiful. Sometimes I bomb.

Thank you so much for all the support, that fabulous sixer and your comments. You're so appreciated,

    Hugs,

I love the way you are building this story, Annabelle. That was a brilliant, but not overdone bit of detective work you put into the Hamid character, and a perfect set up for conflict to come.

This should be on its way to Hollywood, if anyone there had guts enough to take on the subject as you are presenting it.

This is a wonderful piece of work.

Oh Freddie, I've been in a bit of a slump as to where this was going. I mean, we can just run into each other in so many restaurants, lol.

Thanks so much for the sixer and for the great support. You're input is more important than you can know.

    Hugs,

Will this is a most pleasant chapter, a real dip into luxury which I always enjoy. I was afraid Hamid the Horrible was going to jump out and was relieved when he didn't, because Rex is nowhere to be seen, and am waiting for his action! LOL Giddy

Hi Giddy, glad you liked this one - beautiful lanai, isn't it? I could live there, lol. Rex is about to become part of the team in the next couple of chapters. Thank you so much for the great comments,

Yep, as the old saying goes, "You can marry more money in fifteen minutes than you can make in twenty lifetimes." Thanks for the pleasure of another great chapter. :-)

Indeed you can, my friend. And by normal standards, Brad would be considered well off to put it mildly. But up against Mehia's kind of money, well, poverty. Must be nice! Hang in there, my friend, we're about to drop a gear.

    Thanks for the great comments.

Wow...what a nice wedding present. Wait! Hamid is Julia's brother? Boy, I missed that one. Now, he's got the real estate info and her address. Oh, man. I can only imagine what's ahead. Good chapter.

    Hey Twinnie,

I could live there. Water's a tad too close for my taste, must make for some noisy sleeping - and all those birds ... I could suck it up, lol.

The Hali/Julia deal is hard - I'll never do another one like this. Yep, Hamid is Julia's brother. She calls him Hamid the Horrible, brothers, y'know.

    Will fix those nits, thanks,

Ha, try turning kids into dinosaurs and vice versa...Saura is harder than Robbie was. The next chapter has her in foster care.

I know! Just a chance to catch our breaths and learn a little about Papa before he and Edward jet off into the blue. Don't get too comfortable!

    Hugs and big thanks,
