DEbbie, this is an extremely creative look at how a person may perceive their self's chasing them. Interesting concept. Hide and go seek, so to speak. Well done. :0 GracieAnn

Debbie, you effectively and most distinctly usual words in this poem so easily that creates a fun type of read. In your rhymes are neither forced, labored or strained and the rhythm obviously flows smoothly throughout your poem. Thank you so much for sharing and posting your work for everyone and may the Lord be with you always.

So, true!

I remember times in my life when I've told myself, 'you'd better buck up and like what's inside your head, because you can never run away from it!'

Wonderfully positive and quite uplifting in a way, dear Debbie!

Hope you have a lovely week. :)

I never thought of that before but your so right, we are always there in reflections of any form whether glass, water, or even some ones eyes. Beautiful picture by the way. Terrie

My saying is;
you can't hide from yourself, anywhere you go, there you are, look in the mirror what do you see, only you.
A nice little write and a journey into ones own self.
A nice calm image and a nice layout.
Have a great day,
RG

Your poem is so very true. We are visible to ourselves no matter where we are. Reflections of Self is well written and meaningful. Love, Carolyn

This is a very reflective write about seeing one's self. We can't run away from ourselves because each of us is the center of our own private world of experiences. To others, we are what we do but to ourselves we can play different roles. Still, in the end, we are what we do. Thanks for sharing. Bob

I feel is one doesn't love themselves there's no way they can completely love anybody else. If you don't stand up for yourself, I doubt if anybody else will. I enjoyed reading your poem.

Dear Debbie - yes indeed a great nugget of wisdom in this one. Well penned and easy to digest. Loving of self is the first priority - until we know what love is within we can't share it outside of ourselves.
Thanks for sharing this one - I liked it.
