A lovely poignant poem comparing love with hate! Love will lead to forgiveness, whereas hatred leads the opposite way! Forgiveness breaks the shackles of dissension! There are 8 syllables 2nd line! Suggestion: "the world will be in peril" world'll 2 syllables! Blessings, Roy.

This was not bad. The basic Idea was good and the message is vital. However I felt that it could be improved with a bit more thought to word choices.
In a poem with such limited form, one must strive to use the very best and most descriptive words in their arsenal. By wasting your syllables on the word 'world' twice, the poem has a certain redundancy. I believe this piece could be improved.
