One lucky little man to have such a friend. I had to search to find the modification to this deceptively easy reading Octogram. Kenny

poor little guy...needs gramma
this:
There's nothing I won't try to do
to keep a frown away from you.
touched me
I always like the softness of your words. They are direct and real and true

Awe, yes, the precious childhood blanket. Well rhymed and rhythmic poem and without the picture, the reader could imagine who the friend could be....a grandma? A pet? A sibling? Nice job.

Another one from the endless portfolio of Sawyer photos...
The pleasing rhythm of the octogram gives this a singing feel, assisted by your excellent rhymes - not easy when you need multiple examples of the same rhyme.
Very nice.

A very nice poem with a cuddle-coming-on photo. I liked the message and I guess grandma would be that constant friend? When times get tough - the tough get going. Well done you lucky Grand mum! XX

This is absolutely gorgeous and top quality writing as always. Sawyer is such a perfect photographic subject and also a source of inspiration for you, no doubt.

James Taylor, and Carol King: "You've got a Friend when the skies are blue": This poem reminds me so much of those two. Put the melody to this poem, and see what happens. Very nice purely coincidental poem. Tony

Wonderful poem for kids with a message that has universal appeal. It reminds a bit of MR. Rogers of kids TV fame. Its great! My only question is about Ill make them end. It seems to me that the appropriate help would be to restore being in tune. don1

What a face on the tired child And a beautiful poem to match. For me the poem reads easily and I like the rhyme scheme. Good write, thank you
