Sawyer does look a bit tired. A wonderful modified octogram.I love your choice of repetition and rhymes. Would you send me the structure of an octogram. The examples you select are so fresh & pertinent, and also crafted perfectly to fit the form. A very impressive bit of writing here, my friend. The first stanza feels like it lifts up the reader's spirit, just like the very fondness you're describing in lofty terms. Thanks for sharing.
