Beautiful... Everything about the thoughts in this poem are so very positive and caring. You have put together an excellent poetic thoughts process here. I enjoyed reading and writing this response for this very positive piece of poetic thoughts transference... John

An excellent poet needs word skills AND true feelings/emotions, Brooke, and your deep protective love for Sawyer shines through your top poem here. Lovely flow, rhymes and imagery.
Best wishes, Ted

Shame, the Cute Little One looks so tired. He must've had a long busy day. This poem is very well written and very touching. Good job.

A bit of a reassuring melancholy feel to this, and the picture is perfect! He looks drained! It is always good to have someone in our corner, if needed!

Sawyer does look a bit tired. A wonderful modified octogram.I love your choice of repetition and rhymes. Would you send me the structure of an octogram. I probably have it written down somewhere, but can't find it. I've only written a couple and would like to try another one. Thank you, my friend. ~Debbie

This is the most original I've ever seen the concept of "friendship" conveyed . . . with millions of attempts falling short of your stellar verse. The examples you select are so fresh & pertinent, and also crafted perfectly to fit the form. A very impressive bit of writing here, my friend. The first stanza feels like it lifts up the reader's spirit, just like the very fondness you're describing in lofty terms. Thanks for sharing.
