A delightful triolet.
The carefree nature of the write resonates with me. Yesterday I went blossom viewing in DC with friends from out of town. Still a little early - most trees are in bud, so I'll have to return.
The children were running around, filled with the joy of a beautiful spring day.
Your poem captures the spirit of the season.

I do get a vivid image of the Speaker's daughter in this poem, a girl who is definitely her own person. A triolet is a perfect format for emphasizing this quality.
Good use of G-alliteration to describe her glasses and her knees.

I like this as you've used the cherry blossom prompt to write about your daughter's free playing spirit. The triolet format works well here. I think that repeated line of 'cherry blossom in her hair' is really memorable and evocative of the child with pink flowers adorning.
