I haven't reviewed your work, but this introduction hook your readers to stop and read your work. The information you provided aroused the interest of the readers to the Christmas carols you have written. AMEN Friend. I agree about the pagan Origins of 'Christmass' and how when Constantine declared "Christianity the religion for all humanity he also added his own history of paganism. I run our church web site and right now till New Year we are running a Special Front Page which includes the information on the Pagan origins of Christmas. One of my carols this leads to was the last one I wrote called "He Came To Die For Us" I appreciate your comments and hope you will look at my carols. We in Australia use the Christmas and Easter periods for evangelism whjile understanding the pagan background of bother"celebrations" Rome has ciertainly maintained the lie with her "salvation by grace....PLUS the sacraments" God Bless.

That's my full intention, Geoff. I'm working my time around multiple medical appointments (recently diagnosed with cancer, ya know), preparing my twin sisters book for publication, and multiple musical commitment (I write songs for movie soundtracks). But, I will get there for sure. See ya then ...

Even though this was not a 'Spiritual Poetry' piece, I thought it seemed like a well-written introduction for a series of carols/poems. The only thing I found to comment on is that you repeated the date of the writing of 'He came to die for you'. Probably not needed to be mentioned twice. Otherwise, very nice!

Thanks Ray, appreciate your comments. As I state in one of the Carols the world has forgotten about Christmas. We only have to look at the push of "Happy Holidays" against merry Christmas and so on. I had a real drive behind writing these Not sure if I mentioned it was the yearly Royal Blind Society Carols By Candle Light show on Tv in Melbourne all those years ago got me going as to the LACK of Songs around the real meaning of Christmas. Hi friend yes these are all my own compositions as stated they were born out of a frustration that too many people have forgotten the real meaning of Christmas. The latest one written many years after the other 3 was inspired at 5am one morning had to dive out of bed to get it down! It has been said the latest one is a good song for any time not just Christmas...call He came To Die For You. Let me know if you have trouble hearing the melody. Thanks again.
