I am fairly new to FanStory. I had entered a poem a long time ago (the free one - where you didn't have to pay to join) then didn't come back until this March. As I was browsing I came across your poetry. You are quite a writer. Your poems are the kind I like - rhyming and easy to understand. This was clever - an easy read. Very enjoyable.

Hi Brooke. This is a wonderfully entry for the youngster in all of us. LOL

I love the line...
Imagination knows
no boundaries or walls.

Nice rhymes and rhythm in this lovely message. Hope all is well with you and Sawyer.
Thanks so much for sharing this!
Katherine

Thanks for replying Brooke. It's been a rather terrible last two years. The vision loss happenend rather quicky and let me a hair short of being legally blind. Reading and writing on thiKatherines site has always bee a comfort to me.

This poem is superbly written and has such a positive vibe for
All who strive to do what others say they will never achieve.
Your thoughts carry such a powerful message for all who feel
confined or held back by conventions and rules.
I love the delightful image.

The endlessly curious, innovative thinker is celebrated in this happy abcb quatrain poem. Funny thing...the less you know about "how" to do something, the more creative you are when doing it. Well done, Brooke. :) nancy

New to poetry and its many styles and structures, I am forced to trust my ears and eyes to find what touches me. Thanks for the cute and enjoyable poem. :-)

We believe the box the toy came in is just as great a thing to play whit as what came inside.
Fun poem. I like the comparison of the endless sea to how far our imagination can be stretched.

Beautiful! I guess the child has never left me, because that is the kind of poem I love the most - and it is perfect. I'm still smiling. Great shot of Sawyer.

I love the way you again use a precious picture of Sawyer to inspire one of your thoughtful, upbeat poems. This one set me to thinking about a book and a song I remember: "God in a Box" (don't try to put Him in one) and "Don't Fence Me In." Love, Jeanie

Imaginations (thoughts) are meant to be shared. Like Sawyer thoughts will pop out try how much you like to box them in. Another well-written Sawyer -inspired poem with consistent rhyme scheme. Thanks. Emeka
