A thoroughly joyous poem, you take delight in such details in nature and love how you share them in this upbeat and jaunty rhythm and rhyme. My favourite line - "I'd harvest drops of fragrant gold" - the melding of two senses is lovely.
Brought a smile to my face.

What a fun poem. This poem would make a nice little song. Sawyer would certainly love my yard. Bumble bees are enjoying my wonderful flowers.

I loved your poem and the imagery expressed in it. We are seeking "the seeds of joy". Your work, as all your works, is beautifully written. I love poetry that I can understand. I am not great at hunting for hidden messages!

Aww, this is so nice. It would be good to be a bumble bee, at least in the sense of your delightful poem about them. You always see the bright side of things. This one would be a great addition to a children's book of poems.
Rose.

Wonderful poem, friend. You make it all sound so soothing yet adventurous. Alas, we are not bumble bees who flit from flower to flower - so we can just be sweet to one another. :)
luv jada

Lively rhyming quatrains in this lovely work about that busy bumble bee. How lovely this time of year; finding perfumed pools." Lovely Spring work.

Very, very lovely. I enjoyed very part of this poem, from the vivd description of the life of a bumble bee to the vocabulary to the meter. This particular rhyming scheme is one of my favorite and this holds a special place in my heart. Incredibly beautiful.

Hello adewpearl, Brooke, I love how you welcome spring with all of God's creatures, great and small. Your poem is delightful and your rhyming, as always, is silky. I especially liked:
But since I'm not a bumble bee,
I'll gather in the sweetness
wherever seeds of joy are sown
in fields of life's completeness.
(And let your seeds of joy multiply.)
A wonderful poem of life. Keep the blue waters flowing. LateBloomer
