I do love the cadence of this and use of smooth rhymes. It evokes the perfect Springtime feeling. Oh. Also I just noticed the notes about Sawyer! Good for him, bees are cool. Take care.

I'd like to be a bumblebee if I could also float like a butterfly. Then I could take a few golden jabs and proclaim "I'm the greatest" (sorry, Ali). It would never work. Due to allergies, bathing in pollen would not quite work. Just have to plant those seeds of joy through humor.

A beautiful picture of a bumble bee at work set against a matching green background.
I like the clever wording, the analogy between the work of the bee collecting honey, and a person looking for the goodness in life.
Easy to read and inspirational, a lovely poem.
:) mel.

Ohhhh, this is beautifully written! Everything works together, the rhymes, the meter, the photo, the sentiment. Great Job! The last verse just sent my spirit into cartwheels!

Dear Brooke,
When I was a child, i often wondered about what it would be like to be a creature from the Animal Kingdom...Well, I guess I am one anyway:) But this was a lovely and lility fantasy--Ted

But since I'm not a bumble bee,
I'll gather in the sweetness
wherever seeds of joy are sown
in fields of life's completeness.
this is lovely, such a jolly little poem, Brooke...
I'm still lagging behind.
Hope all is well.

I suppose we all wish we could be like a bumble bees harvesting the sweetness of the flowers and enjoying life's completeness. Well done, Brooke.

I really love this poem! All though you may not want to be a bumble bee right now! They're dying out! Haha, I kid. I admire your ability to make this poem rhyme and flow so smoothly while still sticking to the theme!
