There is nothing more exhilarating then bursting through those adult warning barriers, to read the latest from the rogue. The coffee fairly squirted out my nose at the bold pronouncement of your "massive rack of ham." Always good to have a healthy self esteem!

As always, clever, well written and hilariously raunchy.

LOL Your best yet Mr Rooster Boosted and I'll have you know that ding-a-ling you're sporting is in for a rude awakening.
Your jolly follies with the dollies will finish before they start pal and you can trust me on this one...you ain't gettin' near my sacred place! LMAO
Nice try Gundagai! Yes, you sordid cavortment. LOL Okay, I concede, it's packin' the goods and worth a sixer. But don't think this means anything but the fact that you wrote this exemplary piece...your other piece has been OVER exemplified to the point it's worth has been negated well and truly. What a pity...your massive rack of ham is now well...rancid. LOL
Hmmm...Maybe try your luck with the Texan Tornado. That is, if she likes left overs. LMVO

I looked this up after seeing it referred to by so many who wrote responses. The writing is tremendously skillful. So many words. The writing style is a study to be sure.

The content, oh well, Boys will be boys.

I thought I reviewed this. I read it and most have been so stunned by the lambasting you delivered that I forgot!!! Fun to see some guests joining in this week. This is really fun. Finally posted my silly piece. Amazing work here. The examples of genius are beyond the paltry ink in my highlighter. I don't think they can bring you down. There may be a secret society of support forming still afraid of the light (and ladies), but working under cloak of darkness!! mikey

Thanks so much, my friend, for this fantastic review, AND for joining in in your own unique way, Mikey. I really enjoyed it. They huff and they can puff, and they can blow me, but I won't go down. Well, actually I will, but not how they mean. :)

Another super charged write that not only reveals the weekly challenge but also the continuous choice between which head to listen to. I too enjoyed Phyllis' retort.
Smiles, Robin :)

Thoughtful of you to share a photo of your "massive rack of ham" . . . so very subtle & tasteful! I'm afraid your photo is where subtlety ends, however! *smile* This poem is the reason why I was hesitant to join the Rogue Chronicles, as I could never compete with this level of intricate structure, rhythm, & rhyme, which is very impressive. But that's all the kudos you'll get from me, as I try to think of a way to cut you down to size! (Pardon if I can't slice & dice this week, my wit seems to be on vacay!) Thanks for sharing a big chunk of chuckle.

No worries there, bg, as there are always plenty of hens ready for the challenge...but I'll look forward to your next riposte. Thanks for the kind words. I have to admit that the subtlety has definitely decreased since so many of the hens went below the belt. Perhaps I'll reinstitute it.

Thank you very much, my friend, but the cock is very much alive. Phyllis wrote a fine rebuttal, but I'm always ready to come back for more. :) You're always welcome to join in.

Tsk, tsk, tsk, Rogue - everyone knows that it's those who aren't getting any who boast the most. *GRINNING EVILLY*
What a bold attempt - such a shame you have to play this game, instead of actually playing THE game. :)

Yet again, your masterful handling of the topic and tools (WORDS, Rogue, WORDS) illustrates great talent and skill in WRITING. (LOL)

(SIX, David, if I had one - you really need to re-think this Friday thing. LOL)

After last weekend, then, I should be awfully quiet, but the rogue is a crower, of course.

Thank you, my friend. I really enjoyed putting this together, though the number of actual reviews is a bit strange considering the number of views, but I guess curiosity gets the better of many, even if they're too scared or offended to review it.

Love that you're part of the Sisterhood, my friend, as I think it's one hell of a talented collection, and I"m proud to engage in the repartee with you all. Love ya!

(LOL - compliments make me purrrr....)

Seriously, though, I agree - I LOVE reading what the other sisters write to you/Rogue - they are a talented and very witty bunch!

I meant you need to post on Sunday, when the sixes are replenished. :)

You're welcome. Love ya too (but don't tell that rascal, okay? LOL)

Your secret is safe with me. Yes, I probably should rethink it, but the audience is fairly limited, so I'm not sure it's worth posting on another day. However, don't feel obligated to post on FRYday. Any day is fine, but I probably won't riposte except on Fridays.
reply by Dawn Munro on 29-Mar-2014
Frankly, I would have, but nothing was coming - I guess the new novel idea took over somewhat. "Adieu" is part of it now too, but the thing is, I couldn't promote, as I haven't been reviewing - just started tonight. (Been off site all day.)

No worries about when you post, since I'll read what you post anyway, and there are none I find less worthy anyway. (no kidding) :)

It does get a bit much here sometimes, though, so I find I need a day or two away from time to time. (I know you feel the same. Sigh...)

Dear David - Wow you sure give it all ya got, I'm impressed. I'm going to need a very bloody cold shower, but between my laughter and many OMG's I must of uttered half a dozen times I say Rogue's rocking hard and is slightly in the lead.

Well now a brilliant come back, pun intended. I read Phyllis's work earlier and almost fell off my chair laughing before I even got to the poem....then the rest did me in, till my sides were sore.

Great play on play - and I for one am going to say I sure did enjoy this one....now for my cold shower...

Thanks for sharing this heat. I feel better already.:)

Hi Maureen- Happy to oblige, my friend, and thank YOU for being one of the few who actually commenting (the views are up there, but the brave souls who reviewed are few). I guess they like to read it, but don't want anybody to know they do, so I appreciate it very much that you've weighed in...and walked away warmer for the effort. Have a great weekend! David

Oh you little Rogue you. Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned? Damn straight, except for when the woman is a man and then the fury is bloody nuclear power, RAGE and the universe implodes. :) Sorry for the late review mate, but Aunt had an emergency Auntie call. All good now though.

Super or should I say supper riposte to the X-Women who you still have yet to surrender to, which is good, because it's a lot of fun, and in the end we all KNOW who is going to win.

Love your protection for the erection. Would that be RAMses? They have been under attack lately for lack of safety. I think they might possibly choke the life out of the equipment if you get my gist.

Super iambs in this heptameter, dear one, and stable internal rhymes? Is that where they keep the stallions? ;-)

Always a pleasure, David, and your D-fense has of course inspired me to another idea. Hopefully I have time to write it and get it posted before day's end because of that durn emergency.

Love your Rogue posts, so keep them coming.

Gloria

There's my girl! Howdy, Gloria. So sorry to hear of your Auntie. Hope all is OK, my friend.

Surrender isn't an option, and the rogue won't go down...well, yes he will, early and often, but you know what I mean. ;)

Not RAMses for this TROJAN WAR HORSE, m'lady. :)

As always, Gloria, thanks for always playing along, for understanding what this is, and for being such an excellent riposter. :) Looking forward to your own...
