Hi Brooke,

A very good sentiment running through this poem, it echoes the sentiment in the Gospels that we should 'receive' God's love with the same joy and acceptance that a child has for a loving parent or grandparent.

Another snippet of wisdom wrapped up in a poem. How do you keep up with the ideas? This is such a truism of relationships. All those fears and self-doubts just make people suspicious and limited when there's truly "joy and its embrace" when people allow themselves to love. Two lovely quatrains, given substance by those two critical questions, make a lovely poem.

She looks like an adorable child. The smiles on there faces is priceless and should be spread worldwide. Just seeing a child's smile like that makes one smile. Beautifully written poem, Brooke. Glad to have read it on this snowy morning.

What a delightful picture of happiness, beautifully supported by your, verses, Brooke. You can rap one off on any subject and make it inspirational, and in this case, full of action. Giddy

Both the picture and the poem capture this all-out joy that children seem capable of more than anyone else. Nora looks like another happy child in this family (and she must surely seem as family). Love, Jeanie

Hi, Brooke. At first, I thought Sawyer had grown awfully fast--good to find out it wasn't him. Time goes by fast, but I didn't think quite that fast. He probably enjoys a playmate, although at that age, Jealousy can be a problem. My beagle is jealous of anything that distracts me from doting on her--even the computer!!! Take care, my friend. Lovely quatrains~Debbie

Debbie, thanks for the laugh and the review :-) I don't think he's old enough to experience jealousy yet - he gets extremely excited about going to Nora's house :-) Brooke

Hi Brooke :)

Another child you write about so skillfully.

A bit "Sixer" for you for great work.

Whomever does this photography has a talent for sure.

Loved the piece and the message from the heart.

Nice work.
