This chapter read well and the problems were ironed out. There's always one dissenter amongst any group. Now that the leadership is officially in place, maybe you should appoint different people for various duties, keeping guard, finding food, etc. etc. Good narrative and dialogue. Enjoyable as always. I enjoyed this one very much. Johnny's speech was awesome and quite powerful. they are in a bad situation and someone needs to take control or none of them will survive. You have left us in a cliffhanger not knowing what is going to happen next. Good work with this one and as always, no suggestions...I am just along for the ride.

Perfect take. There is no Shangri La when humans are involved. This is what had to happen. Yes. The soldiers were dangererous waiting to explode. Realistic and shows Johnny's true wisdom. Really reading true. NG

I keep doing that "its" thing like I don't have a brain. I don't seem to catch it even when I'm looking for it. I caught a couple today though. Maybe I'm getting cured! I always said that democracy is an illusion. And it doesn't really work either. Very rarely will the official that was elected there by the people actually serve the people's interest. Mike, this is another well written chapter that makes for a great read. I didn't spot any obvious errors.

Good description of the first attempted coo, and there is always one brewing in any body of humans. Now that we know the rebel is a politician with those kind of politics, i have no regrets for the ass kicking the group gave him, he needs another. How's that for pacifism. lol. Each chapter ends with a lead in to next chapter, which is always good.

I'm a pacifist too and I have those feelings exactly. Hahaha. I wrote the scene!! I'm answering backwards. I do read every one of these with great interest even though I'm behind in responding.
