Another great one by you my friend, good word flow and rhyming, as you tell the story about transporting treasure. Nothing more precious than the deeds and actions of innocent children.

Ah, that photo of the Cute Little One is just too precious. It is good that he has an appreciation for nature at such a young age. Another gem of a poem.

As usual a perfectly crafted poem that is a harbinger of spring in your country. What fun it must be for kids to blow the dandelion seeds! The picture is lovely and Sawyer would definitely be the one to start the golden carpet.

Love the picture, Brooke and figured you would get around to writing a dandelion poem in regards to to Sawyer. Very clever second verse. Laying golden carpets... ah ha ha. I am thinking of my poor dad who would cringe when when blew seeds into the wind. He told us to take them down the street! Great mechanics as usual with rhyme and meter. Good alliteration with treasure/transported, and spreading/springtime.
Fun reading.
Blessings,
Maria

Maria, thank you so much :-) My dad was at peace with the dandelions in our yard - we had lots of clover, dandelions, wild violets, buttercups...and he lay back in his hammock in the middle of the lawn and didn't seems to mind them all one bit :-) Brooke

Yes bring on the springtime! I love your poetry. :) Whenever I am upset or down, I know I can just look on Fanstory, and find something you wrote to bring me back to smiles. Your rhyming is great, the flow perfect. Great work as usual!

The title & photo instantly made this a "must read" . . . & you did not disappoint. I'm reminded of how many fussy lawn keepers would be cringing to think of all those dandelion seeds spreading across their green carpets! But the sign of being truly in a childlike state of mind is not even thinking of it from that point of view. Your poems always reach the height of childlike wonder & playfulness. Thanks for sharing.

Happy Spring! Nature has perhaps one of the greatest careers, cheers! I liked the poem. I must admit that I had to read it twice to grasp the full meaning.
